New exFAT(Extended File Allocation table) technology is now available for lincense. The latest generation of Microsoft’s file system, exFAT delivers a significant leap forward in terms of the size of files that can be stored on a broad range of consumer electronic devices, and the speed with which they can be accessed. There has been an explosion in the use of rich audio and video files,exFAT is an ideal file system that delivers fast and reliable use of audio and video files. It is an important technology in Windows 7.

exFAT is the modern version of its predecessor, the FAT system, and greatly expands the size of files that flash memory devices can handle. The exFAT file system not only facilitates large files for use of audiovisual media, it enables seamless data portability and an easy interchange between desktop PCs and consumer electronic devices.

In specific terms, the exFAT file system does the following:

• Enables future growth in media capacities, increasing support from 32 GB up to 256 TB

• Handles more than 4,000 RAW images, 100 high-definition (HD) movies, or 60 hours of HD recording in a single directory

• Speeds up file saves of Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC) cards to achieve their full 300MBps speed using modern storage allocation techniques

• Provides an extensible format, including OEM-definable parameters to customize the file system for specific device characteristics

Microsoft has entered into exFAT licensing agreements with several leading companies including Sony, Canon and Sanyo. In addition, SanDisk Corp., as a member of the SD Association and the Memory Stick standard, has endorsed the adoption of the exFAT file system for use in the new extra capacity storage media.

Microsoft Not To Sell Office And Word 2007 After Jan 11, 2010

Microsoft has lost its appeal against i4i, a Canadian company that holds the patent over some XML code that has been used by Redmond in the creation of Word 2007 and Office 2007.

Microsoft is therefore paying i4i a $290 million fine and that's not enough, the company will have to pull both Word 2007 and Office 2007 from stores by January 11, 2010.

The injunction only applies to copies of Word 2007 and Office 2007 sold in the U.S. “on or after the injunction of January 11, 2010”. Worldwide customers or U.S. consumers that purchesd them prior to that date should have no problem using their copies.

Everyone else could either get the new version of Word 2007 and Office 2007 or wait for Microsoft Word 2010 and Microsoft Office 2010 to arrive. The current beta version of those programs and the final versions will not contain the “technology covered by the injunction.”

Your docs are save you won’t have to switch to a different word editor. Microsoft will still provide its famous text editing solutions to its customers even after January 11, 2010.

Magnifier a Cool Tool In Windows vista and 7.

Many of us think sometime while we are reading or writing some text that may be we can Zoom the small written text, so that we don't have take our eyes close to screen, because rays coming out from the screen can have bad effect on our eyes. Zoom in option is available in internet explorer or in other explorers, but the main problem with that when you zoom in explorer, you have to use scroll bar up-down and left-right to see the non visible content. It means for every line you have to scroll to right and then for second line again scroll to left.

But if you are using Windows Vista or 7, you can use Magnifier tool, after using this tool you love to use this tool again and again, so here's the demonstration of using this tool.

1. Go to start menu and click the magnifier tool or you can searh in search tool.

2. It appears always on the explorer or other windows pages whatever you open, but its appearance will change to following figure so that you can use the window page for writing, scrolling or whatever you want to do.

3. Main reason to use this tool is that you don't have use scroll bars, just move mouse screen will move according to pointer.
