DeskSpace significantly increases your desktop space, allowing you to work and play on multiple desktops, With DeskSpace you can organize your programs and icons on multiple 3D desktops, and quickly switch between these desktops using the mouse and keyboard..
Its not a free software but you can use trial version and you can download it from http://www.otakusoftware.com/deskspace/
After you done installations you can run it by pressing ctrl+windows logo. you can also change this shortcut keys later.
When you switch between different desktops it will show you the desktop number for your ease as shown in following image.
you can switch between different desktops by using keyboard or by rotating mouse wheel or you can use taskbar icon.
